Free ospitality
From April 2008 the Ospitale delle Rifiorenze has decided to give for free a four bedded room for a maximum of 5 nights. This four beds are available for three categories of subjects beneficiaries: street artists, Volunteers and
COUCHSURFERS. Another room is always free to disposition for the homeless people welcomed through our partner Albergo Popolare NGO.
Homeless people:
Ospitale delle Rifiorenze is a place in which during winter time 80 homeless people live in. So also in summer we decided to maintain partly a character of free reception giving them a four bedded room. Thanks to the collaboration with the Social pole of the Florence municipality we will entertain disadvantaged people. With some of them a more continuous collaboration could be created for longer period in the optics of a social reinsertion, as already occurred to Marzio and Massimo.
Street artists:
Ospitale delle Rifiorenze is also place of culture and exchange. This is why we give some free places available for street artists coming from any part of the world. It is a way to contribute to the cultural enrichment and to allow exchange and interaction in a city where is not possible to express freely. The Idea is to host artists of various kind in exchange for a performance at the Ospitale delle Rifiorenze.
Volunteers:
Ospitale delle Rifiorenze is also place of sharing and participation to the life that fill it. This is why we decided to give some free places for volunteers people who want to know our project a little bit more nearby and at the same time to afford a free stay in Florence. Hospitality in exchange for collaboration to our project.
Couchsurfers:
Ospitale delle Rifiorenze join the initiative of the
couchsurfing-project from the 2008. The couch surfing is literally translated in to jump from a couch to the other and it is the last frontier of the low cost travel. Guests give a room available or also only the couch of their house or even a piece of garden in which to plant their curtain.
